I first picked up a crochet hook when I was about 12 years old. My family lived a block away from a Ben Franklin craft store where I got a Boye J hook and some worsted weight yarn. My mom taught me to do some simple stitches, but I mainly remember only being interested in making REALLY long chains. I may have made one scarf and then I got bored and forgot about the craft. Fast forward about 14 years to 2013 and I decided one winter to pick the hobby back up. Since then, I’ve been addicted! This Chevron Infinity Scarf pattern is one of the first that I created myself after learning how to make chevrons in crochet. It is a super simple make and can be worked up in an hour or two, which makes it great to boost inventory for markets or to make as gifts. Also, the color combinations are endless! I’ll show you below how the scarf looks with a mirrored color pattern and without. Let me know in the comments what you think and what color combos you’re going to try!

Lay your scarf out on a flat surface, then twist it once around in the middle and bring the ends together. Stitch together using mattress stitch or crochet slip stitch.
Mirrored colors (true invisible join).
Non-Mirrored colors may not line up exactly, but you can always hide the join in the twist!
